Podcast: Why I write

Following my most recent piece on the Electoral College and voting rights in America, a close friend of mine dropped me a line asking me, “Why do you write?” Initially, I thought the question slightly odd and was taken aback. But then, when lying in the bathtub a few hours later, nursing a glass of red wine sitting on the shelve right next to me and allowing my mind to wander to the tunes of some fine Jazz music, my friend’s question kept coming back to me. After all, wasn’t this a possible theme for another podcast episode? So, why do I write? Well, here is my modest answer to a weighty question.
